Monday Night Date Night at Starbucks

Hi!
don't have any pictures for this update, but I'll tell you about our day :-)

We left Beijing about 12:30 and arrived in Guangzhou by 3pm, the weather is beautiful and everyone is so relieved that we can put the winter clothes away and break out the t-shirts!

We received updated information about our babies, I'm a little nervous about Ruth, the first sentence in her update stated she is "lively but stubborn" what are we in for? She is 20lbs and now has 13 teeth, is crawling. I'm not really nervous but it will be interesting to see how that sentence plays out...it also said she likes adults and to be held alot, that's probably a good sign.

We tried the cantonese restaurant in the hotel tonight, it was very good, though it was a little difficult communicating with the wait staff, once they understood though they took exceptional care of us. re pouring tea after every sip, bringing us whatever we needed very promptly, there were about 5 of them around constantly. Takes a little getting used to. The food was great though.

We will meet our babies at 2pm tomorrow, about 1 am for those back in VA. I will try to update with pictures and everything as soon as possible after that, we no longer have free internet access in the rooms though so we'll see how Ruth likes starbucks:-) so hopefully when you wake up on Tuesday morning look for pictures of gotcha day.

That's all for now, if I get a chance I'll add a few pics before gotcha day,
Love,
Wayne and Martha

Sure, sure... Wayne and the guys had to show us up and make it up to the fourth tower. Great! I want to trek that thing again.

The Sugar Bowl ended a little while ago here so I'm still awake around your gotcha time. I'm praying for you all. By the way, the Mountaineers trounced the Georgia Bulldogs early on and held on to keep the lead. The Hokies also beat Louisville.

Have you had Danny's Bagels yet? I liked their ham and pineapple pizza. Of course, we had Chinese food for about a week and a half longer before we hit Guangzhou so even McDonald's tasted like it was the Outback Steakhouse. The Veranda Cafe has very good pizza and pasta, by the way.
